Introduction

The Founder Member, Jolan Hamman established Atom Project Services (herein further referred to as Atom) after servicing the industry for fourteen years, to fill an identified need in the South African manufacturing and construction market. Its work encompasses all types of civil, steel and piping construction; including project management, costing and estimation, quantity surveying, draughting & detailing, supply, installation and mechanical erection.

Atom is a specialist project management construction company focussed in the following fields: draughting and detailing, civil & earthworks, supply and installation of structural, mechanical, plate work and piping.

Atom ensures quality through superior management and control systems, which has been developed by years of technical and practical experience. Our skills and experience have been combined to create a cohesive, smoothly functioning team, guided by good communication and our personal pride in our work. We take an engineering approach to every project, instituting the right systems and technology to mitigate risk, capitalize on opportunity and ensure quality and cost efficiency. Attention to coordination, control and scheduling helps to minimize waste and maximize output.

Our capabilities range from engineering drawings and project management, through to civils, steel fabrication and erection, mechanical installation and piping (SMPP) to Engineer, procure, construct and maintain (EPCM). These capabilities enable the company to handle a complete project or any portion thereof. Our emphasis is always on the execution of the project, completing it according to schedule, and to the highest industry standards.

Atom is staffed by core management personnel with comprehensive practical professional experience in the civil, steel fabrication, construction and engineering industries. This impressive background was acquired through our staff’s hands-on involvement in a range of projects and industrial undertakings.

Our well-established network of suppliers, sub-contractors and construction associates specialize in different fields of fabrication and construction using modern machinery and techniques to provide quality products and services. Providing a virtually unlimited supply source whenever additional special skills or knowledge is required in specific projects.

At present, the company consists of a high production unit with our well-established network of suppliers, sub-contractors and construction associates who work hard to deliver the best quality outputs in accordance with each customer’s specifications and requirements.
